The Documents & Images page provides a list of documents & images for a Facility & its Assets. [top]Select an item from the table of existing Documents & Images & 'view file'. The file will open in a new browser window. Note that not all file types will be viewable. AutoCAD files (DWG) can only be viewed if you have AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio installed. [top]
Users with appropriate security access can upload & maintain documents & images stored for Facilities & Assets. The Documents & Images page provides options regarding file types that can be loaded and guidelines on setting up an image correctly. To upload a document or image:
After adding a new item, a summary table will appear below the document and images list listing any existing uploaded documents & images. There are also buttons to 'view' a stored document or image, 'delete' an existing file that may be outdated or not relevant. If no image types have been loaded for the Asset class being viewed, the message 'Images cannot be uploaded for this asset because no image types have been defined' will be displayed. See the System Administrator if a new image type needs to be defined. Note: port]e[co is not an image management system. For this reason, image & document types have been restricted. To print or save multiple documents, select the file type to be printed or saved from the drop-down list. The 'Available' box will display files of the selected file type. Use the arrow buttons to select the files to be printed or saved. The 'To Print/Save' box will display the selected files. When the files have been selected, select save or print using the buttons. Saving will create a zipped folder of the files selected. The print button will remain disabled for file types that do not support printing (e.g. .dwg). [top]
